About MODO
What is MODO Food & Living?
MODO is a curated lifestyle brand that brings Japanese craftsmanship to the modern Filipino home. Our collections include thoughtfully chosen kitchenware, café essentials, and design-forward tools, in partnership with Japan’s most trusted brands.
Where is MODO located?
You can visit us at Mitsukoshi BGC, Basement Level, at Grand Central Park, BGC. We are open from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM on weekdays and 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM on Saturdays and Sundays.
Do you have a cafe?
Yes! At our Mitsukoshi store, you can enjoy a limited café menu featuring drinks by Unir Coffee and Ippodo Tea, as well as light bites made with Vermicular appliances — all available for sale onsite.
Ordering & Shopping Online
How do I place an order on the website?
Browse our collections, add items to your cart, and proceed to checkout. You’ll receive a confirmation email once your order is placed.
Can I shop without creating an account?
Yes, you can check out as a guest. Creating an account, however, allows you to track orders, save shipping details, and view your order history.
How can I track my order?
Once your order is shipped, we’ll send a tracking number via email. You can also log in to your account to view order status.
Can I change or cancel an order?
If your order hasn’t been processed, email service@modo.ph right away and we’ll do our best to assist.
Is it safe to shop on your website?
Yes. We use secure encryption technology to protect your data and payment information.
Shipping & Delivery
How long does delivery take?
Most orders arrive within 3–7 working days, depending on your location.
How much is the shipping fee?
Shipping is calculated at checkout based on the kind of item? and delivery location.
Can I send an order as a gift?
Yes — enter the recipient’s address at checkout, and add a personalized note under gift options.
Payments
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, GCash, and bank transfers. All payments are securely processed.
Do you offer cash on delivery (COD)?
Not at this time. We encourage digital payments for a safer and faster experience.
Returns & Exchanges
In-Store Purchases
We allow exchanges for defective items within 7 days of purchase, with receipt and original packaging. We do not accept returns for change of mind. To request an exchange, please visit our Mitsukoshi store or email us at service@modo.ph.
Online Purchases
Returns are accepted for unused, unopened items within 7 days of delivery.
To initiate a return:
1. Email service@modo.ph with your order number and photos
2. Wait for instructions from our team
3. Once approved, return the item for inspection and refund/replacement
Note:
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method
- Food & beverage items (e.g., coffee, tea) are non-returnable
- Items must be in original condition with packaging intact
Product Information
Are your appliances 220V and PH plug-compatible?
Yes. All appliances are compatible with Philippine voltage (220V) and use local plugs.
Are your kitchen products food-safe?
Yes — all kitchen tools and appliances we carry are certified food-safe and imported directly from Japan.
How do I care for my MODO products?
Product-specific care instructions are included in packaging or listed on the product page. For electronics, please follow the manufacturer’s usage guide.

Are these products available elsewhere?
MODO is available online as well as in Cafe Dolci, B1 of Mitsukoshi BGC. Select items may also be available during pop-up events – follow us on @modophilippines for updates.

What are your workshops or events about?
Our events are designed to immerse you in Japanese food & living rituals such as cooking and appliance demos. Visit our website or follow us on Instagram for upcoming schedules.
