Ingredients
- 8 pc chicken thigh (240g)
- Parsley (for serving)
- Lemon wedges (for serving)
Karaage Mix
- 1.5 tbs soy sauce
- 1 tbs sake
- 1 tsp grated garlic
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1 pinch salt
- Black pepper
- 2-3 tbs cornstarch
Directions
- In a bowl, combine soy sauce, sake, grated garlic, grated ginger, sugar, salt, black pepper, and cornstarch to make the karaage mix. Stir until well blended.
- Sprinkle the chicken thigh pieces with an appropriate amount of karaage mix, then massage it in well to evenly coat and season.
- Place the seasoned chicken evenly on a grill rack, set it on the flat grill pan, and cover with the ridged grill pan lid.
- Cook at 260°C (500°F) for 10 minutes, or until golden and cooked through.
- Plate the chicken and garnish with parsley and lemon wedges.
