Ingredients
  • 8 pc chicken thigh (240g)
  • Parsley (for serving)
  • Lemon wedges (for serving)

Karaage Mix

  • 1.5 tbs soy sauce 
  • 1 tbs sake
  • 1 tsp grated garlic  
  • 1 tsp grated ginger 
  • 1/2 tsp sugar 
  • 1 pinch salt
  • Black pepper
  • 2-3 tbs cornstarch 
Directions
  1. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, sake, grated garlic, grated ginger, sugar, salt, black pepper, and cornstarch to make the karaage mix. Stir until well blended.
  2. Sprinkle the chicken thigh pieces with an appropriate amount of karaage mix, then massage it in well to evenly coat and season.
  3. Place the seasoned chicken evenly on a grill rack, set it on the flat grill pan, and cover with the ridged grill pan lid.
  4.  Cook at 260°C (500°F) for 10 minutes, or until golden and cooked through.
  5. Plate the chicken and garnish with parsley and lemon wedges.
