Ingredients
  • 1 pc spring chicken (500g)
  • 1/2 pcs onion slices 
  • 1 tsp butter
  • Chopped black pepper
  • 1 pinch thyme

Marinage

  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp red pepper powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp crushed black pepper
  • 2 tsp red wine vinegar
  • 2 tsp worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp dark soy sauce

Directions

  1. Wash the spring chicken and cut off the tail, backbone and neck.
  2. Turn the chicken over, lay it flat, and drain the water with kitchen paper.
  3. Mix the marinade ingredients and spread evenly over the chicken and marinate for 15 minutes.
  4. Place onion slices on the grill pan and top with chicken.
  5. Place butter, chopped black pepper and thyme on the surface of the chicken.
  6. Preheat oven to 160°C for 1 minute.
  7. Cover and bake in oven for 30 minutes.
  8. Let cool slightly before cutting into pieces and serving on a plate.
